I learned of the death of Harry Leslie Smith today. I was recommended to read his book, ‘Harry’s Last Stand’ a few years ago. I found this Barnsley-born author and activist to be a refreshing view on modern politics and the failings of modern government. He pulled no punches and was a strong advocate for maintaining and supporting the NHS as the jewel in the crown of socialist achievement.
He will be missed.
