Britain’s young jobless should busk to raise cash and work for less than the minimum wage, says privately-educated, Oxford graduate, Conservative MP Damian Collins. Collins said young people who stay at school to do A-levels often ‘aren’t employable’.
He said: ‘A businessman I know told me: “I would much rather get a school leaver at 16. Get them to do an apprenticeship for two or three years….to be able to enter the workforce on the national minimum wage.Not much has changed since Tory Norman Tebbitt told the unemployed to get on their bikes.
